Merry Christmas wishes to you! - Santa is coming to town, so watch out and keep a lookout for those black boots as they will be making their way down your chimney before you know it. Wishing you guys all the best in 2023.

And as the same procedure as every year, thank you all for being a part of this awesome virtual company!

VCI-Survey: You have the choice

Written by Germany Thorsten Sass Staff

Dear Pilots,

as you probably already know, we at Virtual Cargo International has always an open ear for every pilot who joined us, is active and like to support our very special but beautiful virtual company. Since the release in January 2nd, 2018 we grew fast and stable what makes me very happy, of course. If you are new to us please take a look to our Help-Center, in detail to the iBase2Go Change Log section. Now it is time to get a deeper look from our pilots perspective, this is why we want to ask you a few questions. I would therefore like to express my thanks in advance for supporting us so well and for wanting to take part in the survey.

First VCI-Survey

With this pilot survey we would like to try to improve our organisation, steer our constantly added routes and aircraft in a different direction if it is due, and possibly fix other issues that we did not have in mind at the moment, but from a normal pilots point of view might be disturbing or bad. You'll help us a lot to improve our services and workflow so please spend for us some time! Don't worry, you only need a few minutes to complete this survey and there is nothing complicated :)

To start the survey, just click here!
(powered by google forms)

For any further help, our staff and fellow pilots would love to help you, just join our Discord-Server with currently over 650 members.

Our first turboprop based airline

Written by Germany Thorsten Sass Staff

Hey Pilots,

a got awesome news for any who loves turboprop aircraft. I recently added a new cargo airline called RAF-Avia, a Latvian airline based in Riga. RAF-Avia flies the Antonov An-26, the ATR's and also the Saab 340B mostly in Europe from one up to five-hour flights. Our current database present over 170 unique schedules. With our new turboprop based airline, I also published our new hub in Riga(EVRA/RIX). Our livery center is also filled with the correct liveries for FSX, P3D and X-Plane 11, please take also a look at our Download Center if you are searching for the popular Antonov AN-26B/24 (NATO reporting name: Curl) for X-Plane 11.

The credits are going to VCI4492 - Dragoljub Blagojevic who collected all the flights and also provided us with some nice repaints!

Another topic from above, I'll be not available at all for the next few days. Some of you probably know that in Germany many many people lost their whole possessions because of a lot of rain, several little towns are completely flooded! Houses, streets and, railroads are all gone. As a volunteer firefighter, a group of a few people including me, we are gonna help in this particular disaster area and try to help a little as best we can.

Flying with X-Plane on a MaxOS based system

Written by Germany Thorsten Sass Staff

Hey Pilots,

I just want to inform you guys about Bellerophon. For everybody who are using a MacOS based system and didn't know how to get smartCARS 2 working to log their flight for our iBase2Go system. I added a little walkthrough in our smartCARS help page and divided the information in two sections for Windows and MacOS based systems. So every simmer who using X-Plane and MacOS are now able to log his flight without any problems.

The necessary program "Bellerophon" is available in our Download Center. Thanks to Bennett Sutton who has figured everything out and send me some screenshots.
