I hope you all had a wonderful Easter if you guys celebrated it.

After all the work with Virtual EWG and Virtual FIN I had, we are now entering the hot phase of iBase2Go v3.0. Since this new version means a complete rebuild and the basis of the system is changed, so changes are essential. In the next few days, I will share details and provide a small overview of which data will be taken over and which will not, what you as a pilot have to do to be transferred to the new system and which possible data sets will be adjusted or which content will be removed from iBase2Go, based on the survey we conducted.

So keep an eye on the news and discord channel and also your email inbox, because this time all the details will be sent out to all pilots via email so that no one can say afterwards that they didn't know anything about it! Make sure you've an reachable email address in our system.

Hey Pilots,

many of you heard about it through the announcement about the release of "Virtual EWG". Last year I was commissioned to create and support this airline, under the direction of Charly Teapoint. I was assigned there as Technical Director and accompanied the site with Kevin Wilson, also a pilot here at Virtual Cargo International. I won't go into detail as this has no place here. But since I made the mistake of trusting the management back then and I advertised the new airline here at VCI, I now have to take the difficult route of informing you about it. You know, I'm always for honest communication and always have an open ear. I think that supports why VCI has become so successful.

Due to an abuse of trust by the management of "Virtual EWG", I can no longer and will not support this airline and am out of there with immediate effect! Since many Virtual Cargo International pilots also registered there and were certainly happy there, I unfortunately have to inform you that the work there is finished for me and I am out, not in a  good way. I don't know what's happening now with "Virtual EWG". I don't know whether this will be continued by the management there. But what I can tell you is that when the update to iBase2Go v3.0 is completed and if we are all happy with it, I will start a new passenger airline, on my own responsibility and for all of our passenger fans.

I hope you can understand my decision, but if someone acts like an ass and takes advantage of people, that's unacceptable.

Hey Pilots,

it is time to plan and to prepare, as every pilot should do :D 

I have created a short survey to help me and get a better understanding, what you want to see or need. As this update to iBase2Go v3.0 will not be a small patch, it is more a complete remake!

This will help me to change things, get a better understanding what you guys want and which part of our airline is not as important or popular as assumed. So please answer the following question without any doubt and with your personal passion about flight simming. And do not worry, if you rate a feature down, this will not end on my black-list, but this rating will help me to prioritize some work! Because I've deadline until smartCARS2 doesn't work anymore, some features might be there on first release, some can came a bit later.

I've so many plans for the new Year, Virtual Cargo International is such a success in my eyes so I am very happy to work on our new iBase2Go v3.0 system which makes me also very excited about, how you guys will like it.

Hey Pilots,

A little and short announcement I want to tell you guys is, from know on I start working on iBase2Go 3.0! This will be a complete overhaul including frontend, backend and of course schedules for all known airlines we do currently support! And yes, I'll not give you any release date. But I've plans for summer 2024.

As this is a big step, for Virtual Cargo International and for me, I hope you guys will further support me and my projects.
